Gavin Furlong…. and Son!

Gavin started ‘building bricks’ when he was 16 years old and completed his apprenticeship after a four year course.

Following the economic downturn in Ireland, Gavin re-located to Australia and worked his trade for eight years, building everything from schools to hospitals while developing his leadership skills with a 30-man crew.

Following a brief stop in Switzerland and Denmark to build Google’s data centres, he landed in Scotland and founded Gavin Furlong and Son Limited.

Initially focussed on small residential jobs, the business has grown to land commercial contracts with the NHS and housing providers. Gavin and his crew are still very happy to build small garden walls, though!
